Looking for Mr. Conservative
Long before we on the right can worry about defeating President Obama in 2012, we have to come up with an electable – and presidential – candidate, one who, if elected, will run the country according to traditional, conservative economic and foreign policy principles. And the key to that task is to find a candidate who can unite all the disparate factions and groups on the right and also appeal to the all-important independent voters, especially the tea partiers who have become disgusted with both political parties. In other words, this first 2012 primary is the race to be anointed Mr. Conservative. [more...]

‘How to Train Your Dragon’ Reaches No. 1
By James Hirsen

Some critics are hailing the film for instilling in children the concept of understanding our enemies and not demonizing them. The real message of the film is not to judge by appearances, which is a good axiom for story lovers of all ages to live by. “Dragon” is one of those movies that families can enjoy together. It combines humor, action and heart-warming scenes that charm young and old. [more...]

By Kyle Olson
Now Max Baucus tells us: the health care overhaul America was just forced to endure was the government’s attempt to fix the “mal-distribution of income.” It’s an admission that sadly comes after the bill has passed and been signed by President Obama. But it’s better late than never. While the acknowledgment likely wouldn’t have stopped the legislation because chances are it was common knowledge behind closed doors, at least the admission has now become public. And it proves the point the whole exercise had nothing to do with Americans’ health and more to do with the Marxist concept of “redistributing” wealth. [more...]
Castro Endorses ObamaCare
By Joy Tiz
The Democrats win the coveted Fidel Castro endorsement for passing the health crimes bill: “Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro declared passage of American health care reform ‘a miracle’ and a major victory for Obama’s presidency, but couldn’t help chide the United States for taking so long to enact what communist Cuba achieved decades ago. ‘We consider health reform to have been an important battle and a success of his (Obama’s) government,’ Castro wrote in an essay published in state media, adding that it would strengthen the president’s hand against lobbyists and ‘mercenaries.’” [more...]
