Beyond Lame Ducksville and on to Corporate Campaigns

Approximately three weeks remain for the old cast of characters in Congress, led by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, to wreak havoc on our American way of life and to continue to destroy businesses and jobs in this country. The questions remaining are whether those defeated in November have the appetite for such nonsense and whether the survivors are willing to stick their necks out for President Obama. It is obvious this trio believes they know best and will continue to push changes that are unpopular with the American people. Many believe that Cap and Trade and the Employee Free Choice Act (a/k/a Card Check) are off the table and that the time in Lame Ducksville will be spent passing a temporary budget to fund the government and debating on the extension of the Bush Tax Cuts for everyone. Gov. Christie to NJ Teachers Union: ‘You Punch Them, I Punch You’

It’s not every day you hear a governor laying the smack down on a group of thugs like the New Jersey Education Association, but that’s precisely what Gov. Chris Christie did before a stuffy crowd of education reformers recently. Christie didn’t mince words. He said when he was elected and “arrived on the playground,” he found the administrators and school board laying on the ground bleeding. “That meant there was a bully,” he said. So his message was simple: “You walk onto the school yard and you say punch them, I punch you.” [more...]

 

 

Seems Like Old Times: Clinton & Soros Together Again

Reunited and it feels so good!  Looks like Bill and Hill have reconciled with their old pal, George Soros.  Bill Clinton is set to be the special guest star at a fundraiser for gubernatorial candidate, Mark Dayton of Minnesota who is in a recount battle with Republican Tom Emmer. So near and dear is Dayton to Soros that he’s hosting the bash at his New York home. Soros and the Clintons were once, literally, thick as thieves. Soros reveled in having access to the Clinton White House and fancied himself part of the “Clinton team.”  The Clinton administration allowed “It’s- Not- Easy- Being God” Soros to run wild in the dying Soviet Union.  The results were entirely predictable.
