PC Police Approve Jihadis at Nuke Plants

By Joy Tiz

It’s like Fort Hood all over again.  Sharif Mobley, a homegrown al qaeda jihadi worked in American nuclear power plants and blathered about jihad.  He referred to non-Muslims as “infidels” and visited some “unusual” Web sites.  The one with the mushroom cloud might have concerned someone: The report, prepared at the request of Senator Charles E. Schumer, Democrat of New York, recommended improving plant employee training on how to detect and report ‘behaviors associated with terrorist intent.’ I don’t know, maybe trying some common sense would yield better results.  How about we don’t let jihadis work at nuclear plants?  It’s not as if this guy tried to keep it a secret. Healthcare Reform: Promises Made, Promises Not Kept

By Dr. Elaina George

The implementation of the healthcare reform bill that was passed in March has now begun. Unfortunately, it is becoming obvious that the promises made such as: a) you can keep your physician and medical plan if you like them; b) your healthcare costs will go down; c) there will be no healthcare rationing; and d) everyone will be covered – simply were not true. We were fed a steady diet of fear, distraction and falsehoods to sell healthcare reform. Van Tran Gaining on Democrat Loretta Sanchez in Calif.

By James Hirsen

Ever since she pulled off an upset back in 1996 in her run against Republican Rep. Robert K. Dornan, California Rep. Loretta Sanchez has coasted to re-election. But similar to a lot of districts around the country, the upcoming midterm election is a virtual coin toss and Orange County’s sole Democratic House member may be in trouble. Sanchez’s opponent, California Assemblyman Van Tran, is only 2 points behind her (Sanchez 45%, Tran 43%). The Rothenberg Political Report, Cook Political Report, and Larry Sabato have all downgraded Sanchez’s chances. [more...]

Are We Heading into Another Great Recession in 2011?

By Dr. Gerard Lameiro

Donald L. Luskin presents powerful evidence in The Wall Street Journal this week that the current stock market is tracking very closely to the stock market in the 1930′s.  Of particular concern are two critical economic policies that might help trigger another Great Recession in 2011. Remember, the National Bureau of Economic Research announced a month ago that the recent recession was over.  But, two critical economic policies that might propel America into another Great Recession in 2011 are higher taxes and higher barriers to free trade (also known as protectionism).  Are we heading into another Great Recession in 2011? [more...]

A Small Business Owner Responds to Paul Krugman, Nobel Ignoramus

By Wayne Allyn Root

Paul Krugman, the Nobel Ignoramus, recently wrote a column for the New York Times entitled, “The Angry Rich.” According to Krugman, wealthy people are angry because money to which they feel “entitled” is being taken away. Krugman is outing himself as a socialist by admitting publicly that he considers the idea of wanting to keep more of your own money an “entitlement.” Radical leftists lie and distort to incite class envy. They call it “greedy” to want to keep money that you earned, but it’s not greedy to demand that government steal it from you and redistribute it to those who never earned it. That’s an interesting interpretation of “greed.” Krugman forgets to tell his readers that this “angry minority” pays the “disproportionate majority” of the taxes. [more...]
