Cain Mutiny Runs Aground

By John LeBoutillier

The explosive Politico story, which broke Sunday night, detailing a series of allegations that Herman Cain acted inappropriately toward two female subordinates when he was the head of the Restaurant Association in the 1990s is the beginning of the end of the Cain Campaign. When the media smells blood, they move in with full force. And Mr. Cain and the Cain Campaign’s dysfunctional internal operation have not dealt well with this problem. They have known for weeks that their rival campaigns, private investigators and other media have been looking for this story. Yet, when it broke, they seemed to be caught flat-footed. That tells us much about Cain: he is not telling his own staff what happened – thus leaving his spokesmen flat-footed. [more...]

SEIU Exposed

By Dave Bego

The SEIU’s Persuasion of Power appears to be wearing thin even within its own membership. Over the last several months, SEIU members have been asking questions about SEIU policies with respect to use of membership dues for politics, excessive executive compensation, member intimidation, misleading propaganda and election irregularities. A recent article, NLRB Quickie Election Fact Check, exposes an SEIU training document (in place while Member Becker was that union’s Associate General Counsel) that encourages organizers to “steal, steal, steal.” Evidently SEIU members in California feel this philosophy is being applied to its own membership. The UN’s Indifference to Dead Jews

By Joseph Klein

The “international community” is always quick to blame Israel for any reprisals it takes against Palestinian terrorists. Accusations of “collective punishment,” “disproportionate force,” and “extrajudicial targeted assassinations” are regularly hurled at Israel from the chambers of the dysfunctional Human Rights Council and other United Nations bodies, including the UN Security Council. Yet when Israel seeks even the mildest of rebukes from the Security Council for continued rocket attacks launched against Israeli civilians from Hamas-controlled Gaza, it is met with stone-faced silence. The Un-Inspiring President Obama

By Tony Katz

Speaking at a fundraiser in San Francisco, President Barack Obama continued the meme that he started over a month ago when he opined that America is getting ”soft.”  At a $5,000 per ticket event, President Obama stated: “ We have lost our ambition, our imagination, and our willingness to do the things that built the Golden Gate Bridge…” Having failed so often, the President finally succeeded in outdoing the infamous President Carter “malaise” speech. Steve Jobs Slammed Obama Policies

By James Hirsen

The upcoming biography of Steve Jobs reveals that the late Apple co-founder and CEO was highly critical of President Obama’s policies. Jobs also went as far as to predict that Obama would not win reelection. Revelations in Walter Isaacson’s highly anticipated book include a meeting between Jobs and Obama, which took place in San Francisco. A copy of the book has been obtained by the left-leaning Huffington Post. The Web site describes Jobs as someone who over time “seemed to have transformed from a liberal into a conservative.” [more...]
